The finishes and features are contemporary, tasteful and excellent quality. The lower unit which occupies the ground floor and basement has 2 bedrooms with 1,380 sq.ft., while the upper unit takes up the 2nd and 3rd floor and features 3 bedrooms in 1,086 sq.ft. Each unit is individually metered for utilities, has its own furnace, hot water heaters and laundry.
The property also features a detached 2-car garage which is a nice rare bonus. The property is nicely located just a 10 minute walk to the subway station and the planned major mixed-use redevelopment of the Galleria Shopping Centre property just to the east will drastically improve the neighbourhood, though at a cost of increased traffic.
My final thoughts:
This is an excellent property if you are looking for home with rental income. All the quality work has been done so this is truly a turn-key property. This house was listed at $1 million with an offer date, however the sellers didn’t get the price they wanted so it has been relisted at $1,298,000 — a fair price. As this renovation was done so well, it would be both a lot of work to turn this house back into a single family home and a shame as well.
