Pros & cons about this property:
A picture could say a thousand words and owner had almost every inch of this loft customized in a very dramatic and over-the-top fashion. A lot of work and and expense was put into this loft and results are very impressive, but it’s definitely not to everyone’s taste. Boring or cookie-cutter like most condos this is not!
There are two spacious bedrooms and a den/office space that overlooks the living area below which is large enough to be a third bedroom. There are also two full bathrooms.
Network Lofts was once a Bell Canada office building with 205 units and decent amenities such as a party room, a rooftop deck, gym, sauna and guest parking. This loft is on the ground floor which is an earshot of the adjacent rail line and busy Bloor Street, but it also overlooks a nice park. To the south is a neighbourhood of residential homes.
My final thoughts:
The neighbourhood is undergoing improvements and with Islington subway just a short walk away, this is a loft that is not in the hustle-and-bustle of the city, but still easily commutable and accessible.
This is a very particular home for a particular buyer and at this price in this neighbourhood, it will take some time to sell.
If you want to live (or re-live) your inner Goth side or operate a mystic home business, this is the perfect loft for you!
