"Working with someone who cares about your success is important. An agent should create opportunity from the first meeting."

I immediately focus on understanding my clients needs and using my 14+ years of experience selling real estate downtown to form a unique strategy to buy or sell their home.

Recently, clients of mine referred me to friends of theirs who were looking to buy an investment property downtown. More often than not, this is how I meet new clients. My clients told me their friends were a nice couple looking to buy a 3-unit investment property, but were finding it difficult. After a few quick emails, I met the couple at a house I recommended near Dundas St W and Brock Ave. Immediately we hit it off. The house was very close to what they wanted and over the next hour, while reviewing the house and learning about each other, we established a relationship. I talked with them about their investment goals and about what they were flexible on and what they weren’t. I provided feedback on their options and the best neighbourhoods within their budget. We determined the features of their ideal property including its layout, condition, location, and what the mitigating factors were that would ultimately determine how much money they would invest.

Long after our appointment was done, we discussed these factors using the house as our muse. The couple confided in me that they were previously working with an agent that a family member had recommended. The agent was experienced and had a good reputation, but didn’t ‘connect’ with them. Neither did any of the homes they were viewing. The couple loved living in the city and while they wanted an investment property, the house still had to reflect their character. We understood each other and they left confident working with me would be a better experience.

Fast-forward 35 days and the couple was signing the winning offer on a larger than expected, detached, 3-unit investment property in an upcoming neighbourhood near Geary Ave. A moment after walking out of the listing broker’s office, they mention to me that I actually made the process of buying a property in Toronto enjoyable. The feeling was mutual and we hugged it out. I am very grateful for the lasting relationships that my professional life has brought.

The above story is a true glimpse of a client’s experience and one reason why I have continued to help people buy and sell real estate. I hope this story tells you a little bit about me and you feel comfortable reaching out. You may also reference the reviews on my Google Business page. The start to any great relationship is connecting!
